My name is Anthony and I am the artist of these silver designs. When working on a new piece I start work not always knowing where the piece will end this is what ensures such unique designs. small (thumbnail) images in a grid. About the Images

I start with .925 (sterling) silver in different thicknesses of sheets and wire. The silver is cut and hammered. Fitting and soldering is next. The last steps are sanding,burnishing and polishing the metal to bring out the shine.

Silver is a great material to work with.It is very forgiving with its ability to be heated and hammered multiple times.

I do enjoy showing the seams as well as the kind of dings and scratches that give character to the piece which is different than most artists who want mechanical perfection.I want to show that these pieces could have been around for one hundred years. ere you might consider including additional information about your gallery images.
